COVID and its challenges motivated us to launch StartFosterCare in May 2021. Just as US State Governments and Foster Care Agencies have moved many processes like training online , StartFosterCare system has digitally transformed the foster parent recruiting process.Foster Agencies spend just one hour a month on the meeting and meet motivated local prospective foster parents. Prospective parents have their questions answered and decide to take up this noble and important service to their local community.
How we connect prospective Foster Parents to Foster Care Professionals (recruiters) near them
Foster Care is a very local challenge. Therefore, in the US Foster Care is organized at the State level or County level. Our goal is to have a group of waiting foster parents trained, licensed at the local level that’s a good cultural fit with the foster kid. So that no child has to wait for foster care.
If you are considering becoming a foster parent you are a wonderful and caring person. You have many questions and need to talk to dedicated foster care professionals (recruiters) near you. These professionals can walk you through the training and licensing process. Their organizations stand to support you through the fostering process including the stipend as applicable.
